Marsh Creek Boat rental teaches lessons on a variety of sailcraft, kayaks and windsurfers. Private and group lessons are offered and Marsh Creek has modern easy to use equipment to make your first experience a good one.

Kayak Lessons

Want to get into Kayaking but feeling a bit timid to take the plunge? Sign up for a beginner kayak class. You will learn about the differences in types and construction of Kayaks, and Paddles, learn about lifejackets and other safety equipment. Instructors will show you different paddle strokes, launching techniques, maneuvering and self-rescue skills. Upon completion of this class you will be familiar and comfortable with flatwater paddling.

This class is 60 minutes long and the cost is $45 dollars. Course fee includes rental of all necessary equipment including a lifejacket. Please call in advance for a reservation 610-458-5040.

Windsurfing Lessons

Our 90 minute private windsurfing lesson is designed to give you the basic skills needed to comfortably windsurf on your own. Each lesson begins with a land orientation to the wind and time on a trainer board. Instructors will then transition you to the water where you will learn the basics of reading the wind, board control, tacking, jibing, and self-rescue techniques.

Course fee is $125 and includes the rental fee of all necessary equipment. Lessons are given any time, please call in advance for a reservation 610-458-5040.

Sailing Lessons

Our 90 minute private sailing lesson is designed to give you the basic skills needed to comfortably sail on your own. Each lesson begins with a land orientation to the wind, sailing theory, and rigging instruction.
