  • Marsh Creek State Park in Chester County / Southeastern Pennsylvania encompasses 1,705 acres and contains the 535-acre Marsh Creek Lake. The lake is a regional attraction for boating, windsurfing and fishing. Within the park, you’ll discover a world of adventure and fun. We offer many types of boats for rent, a refreshment with an eating area on the water, windsurfing and sailing lessons, fantastic fishing opportunities and more. In addition, you will find picnic areas, hiking trails and a relaxing time. Gather up your family and friends and visit us. The park is open from 8:00am to dusk.

    Boating is a centerpiece attraction at Marsh Creek Lake. Patrons can bring their own boats to Marsh Creek so long as they meet safety requirements such as possessing life jackets for each person on the boat and are either registered with the state or have a state park launch permit. The launch permit fee is $10 per year. which can her purchased or at the park office. If you do not have a boat, then come and rent one for an hour or the whole day at Marsh Creek Boat Rental.     Fishing is a popular attraction at Marsh Creek. The lake is populated with large and small mouth bass, perch, muskie, sunfish, and channel catfish. The lake is designated a big bass lake and specific regulations apply. Fishing licenses are required for anyone ages 16 and older and can be purchased at any sporting goods store.
